  1. Introduction. Bizlect LLC (“Company”, “We” or “Us”) respects your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit or use the www.Bizlect.com (the “Website”), and when you download, access, or use the Bizlect mobile application (the “App”, collectively, the “Product”). This policy also described our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. By accessing, browsing, crawling, scraping or in any way using the Product, including scanning a QR code or accepting an invitation link, you are a User of the Product and subject to this Privacy Policy.

    Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Product. By accessing or using the Product, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Product after we make changes is deemed an acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

    1. This policy apples to information we collect:
      1. On the Product.
      2. In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Product.
      3. Through mobile and desktop applications you download from the Product, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the Product.
      4. When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.
    2. It does not apply to information collected by:
      1. Us offline or through any other means, including on any other Company apps or websites you may access through using the Product; or
      2. Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Product.
  2. Children Under 13. Our Product is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Product. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not register, use, or provide any information on the Product or through any of its features, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at the contact information provided in Section 11.
  3. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It. We collect information directly from users, when it is provided it to us, and automatically when the Product is used. User information collected includes information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, the name of your company, job title, address, working hours, telephone number, email address, website for your company, business description, usernames for your social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Facebook Twitter, and Instagram, or other personal information collected (“personal information”). We also collect information that is about you but individually does not identify you, and about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Product, and usage details.
    1. Information You Provide to Us. We collect information directly from users when they download, access, or use the Product. The information we collect from users is entirely based on the contents of their profiles and the information they choose to share on the Product. Users who scan a QR code or accept an invitation link will have access to the user and business profiles.
      1. The information we collect on or through the Product may include:
        1. Information you provide when filling your or your business profile. The amount of personal information included in a profile is in the user’s discretion. By signing in, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy if you choose to verify your account with your email address.
        2. Information that you provide by filling in forms on the Product. This includes personal information provided at the time of subscribing to services, or posting material on the Product. You have choices about the personal information you share on the Product, as provided in Section 3. Due to the nature of this Product, do not post or add personal information that you do not want to be publicly available.
        3. Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
        4. Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
        5. Your business description, photo, and products and services information when using the Product’s business profiles.
        6. Details of transactions you carry out through the Product and of the fulfillment of your orders. All orders will be processed via third parties. The Product will never store any of your financial information, only transaction receipts and confirmation of payments.
        7. Records and copies of any Campaigns (whether promotional, educational, or informational) sent to users of the Product, along with any direct messages between users of the Product, including read receipts. Information on Campaigns are posted and transmitted to others at your own risk.
    2. Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. Data and information is collected automatically as you navigate through the Product. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and user sessions. The Product, with user consent, connects to your mobile device’s camera, calendar, push notifications, and GPS.
      1. As you navigate through and interact with the Product, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
        1. Details of your access to the Product, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Product.
        2. Information about your computer or mobile device and internet connection, including your IP address, push notification ID for your mobile device, operating system, browser type, the device’s name and mobile network information.
        3. The App also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts, and address book information.
        4. The App collects real-time information about the location of your device to permit users to discover and connect with other users of the Product.
      2. We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). The information we collect automatically may include personal information, but we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve the Product and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:
        1. Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.
        2. Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Product according to your individual interests.
        3. Speed up users searches and connections.
        4. Recognize you when you return to the Product.
      3. If you do not want us to collect this information do not download the App or delete it from your device.
    3. Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. Some content or applications on the Product are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, analytic companies, your mobile device manufacturer, your mobile service provider, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Product. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
  4. How We Use Your Information. We use your information to personalize and develop our services.
    1. We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:
      1. To present the Product and its contents to you.
      2. To operate, maintain, and improve the Product and services.
      3. To provide you with information and services that you request from us.
      4. To facilitate networking opportunities between users and enable you to invite others to view your profile.
      5. To facilitate user communications and transactions through our Business and Campaign features.
      6. To send information including confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
      7. To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
      8. To provide you with notices about your account/subscription, including expiration and renewal notices.
      9. To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
      10. To notify you about changes to the Product or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
      11. To allow you to participate in interactive features on the Product.
      12. To protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
      13. In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
      14. For any other purpose with your consent.
  5. Disclosure of Your Information. All information and data that you include in your profile, and all your social actions and communications with users of the Product including via the Campaign feature will be seen by others. We may disclose aggregated information about users of the Product, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
    1. We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
      1. To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
      2. To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, which we used to facilitate transactions through our Business feature. All payments will be processed via third parties.
      3. To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Bizlect LLC’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Bizlect LLC about the Product users is among the assets transferred.
      4. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

    2. We may also disclose your personal information:
      1. To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
      2. To enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
      3. If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bizlect LLC, our customers, or others.
  6. Choice About How We Use and Disclose Your Information. We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. All the personal information in your profile is entirely discretionary and will vary from user to user.
  7. Data Retention and Controlling Your Personal Information. All of your personal information will be retained as long as your account remains on the Product, or as otherwise needed to provide you services. You can review and change your personal information by using the Product. You can change or correct your personal information yourself, or you may contact us to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect or break the Product.
  8. Privacy Rights of California Residents. If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of the App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us via the contact information provided on the Website.
  9. Data Security. We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be managed by Stripe. To ensure your account remains accessible, it is highly recommended you validate your account by linking your email address.

    The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Remember, the information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Product. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Product. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Product.

  10. Changes to Our Privacy Policy. We can modify our privacy policy, and it is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page, with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated on the Website. You may also be notified of material changes to our privacy policy via email. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account, or through a notice on the Website. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically accessing the Product and this privacy policy to check for any changes. If you object to any changes, you may terminate your account. By continuing to use the services on the Product after receiving notice of changes to our privacy policy, you are agreeing to be subject to the updated terms on the privacy policy, as of its effective date.
